Get to Know Tiffany Grant

Tiffany Grant is a community advocate, a fitness enthusiast, a nonprofit leader, and financial professional; committed to equity, fiscal responsibility, and sustainable growth in Frederick County.

Raised in a proud military family, Tiffany experienced profound loss at the age of 18 when she unexpectedly lost both of her parents. With four siblings still at home, her family faced housing instability and relied on emergency housing and public benefits to prevent homelessness and food insecurity. Those experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to ensuring that essential systems, such as housing, education, healthcare, and public safety; work for families when they need them most.

After relocating with her siblings and helping raise seven children collectively, including a child with special medical and educational needs, Tiffany worked her way through college on scholarship and graduated with honors. Also, earning a post graduate degree; with honors, in Forensic Psychology. Her professional career in finance, as well as her serving as Chief-Judge for for gubernatorial and presidential elections, has given her deep experience in budgeting, long-term planning, and responsible stewardship of public resources.

As a survivor of domestic violence and a member of an ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) household, Tiffany understands the challenges many working families face despite doing everything right. Her advocacy is non-partisan and people-centered. She is deeply committed to protecting access to critical services, strengthening public safety systems, and ensuring families are connected to resources with dignity and respect.

Tiffany has worked extensively with local nonprofits and community organizations across Frederick County, building relationships, listening to residents, and advancing solutions that support working families, educators, and small businesses.

She believes strong public schools, fair wages, safe communities, and responsible fiscal policy are not competing priorities. They are all, interconnected foundations of a thriving county.

Tiffany is running to ensure Frederick County remains a place where families can build stable futures, educators are valued, and opportunity is accessible to all. She brings fiscal discipline, transparency, and people-first leadership back to county government.
